Hey man, just take it for what it is... a profile of a great shop on the last weekend of the year. No need to hate.
You're totally right, Lopes could place in the Tour if he set his mind to it. Thanks for sharing your deep knowledge of cycling.
damn dude... why would you even say that? If you knew Gully at all, you'd know he NEVER smokes pot... not that it's a negative thing anyway.
Uhhhh Gully didn't have a black pickup at Rampage. He had a white one. Easy tiger.
Have you not seen the Rocky Mountain Altitude or the new Element RSL? Those bikes and the new Slayer all use RMB's patented pivot location that is NOT an FSR. Rocky's patent owns above the axle and Specialized owns below the axle. Simple.
Profitably? Don't assume too much. Not many companies offer a dedicated slope bike and those that do, don't sell very many. It also isn't fair to compare the Slayer against brands that are more price point focused (I refuse to call them out specifically). The truth is that 90% of riders in this segment ride hardtails and don't want to buck up 3k for a slope bike.
For the record, this bike will NEVER go to production. These frames are custom made in Vancouver for Gully, Smutok, and Jarrett Moore to compete on. Only 10 will be made. About Us
